just wondering which is better on the perfomance side of things. plus does anyone know how much each of them cost.-im getting ready to upgrade my carb and dont know which way to go.

 

if you plan on stock engine on the inside i'd go the lectron, if you ever plan big bore i might go 48mm

 

thebigshow I would go with the Lectron 46HV carb!

 

I'm pretty sure you can get an untuned TM48 pretty cheap. Under $400

 

Between these two carbs, I would recommend the 46HV for a stock to a stage 3 running trails and playing. The thumb pull will not hurt you after 2 or 3 hours of rideing. And it has great response all the way through the power band.

The TM48 I would recommend to the serious drag racer.

This is just my opinion, and don't want to start a flame war.

I dont believe you can run the TM48 without the twist.

 

thats why I like the Lectron 46HV, I want the thumb throttle & not the wrist. "IMO"

 

The TM48 is just like the TM45. Thumb or twist will work.

 

Just to confuse you a little more, you could also think about the Lectron 48HV or the 50mm straight bore, although I think the 50 would take some serious intake modifications.
