Default Clean Chain?

I use Maxima chain wax on my chain. I went riding over the weekend in a very sandy area. I hit a good mud hole. Combine that with the sand and I have a very dirty chain. What chemical is used to throughly clean a chain loaded with chain wax, mud & dirt?

I bought a Unek Chain Scrubber from Rocky Mt ATV. That thing is awsome and really does a great job of cleaning the chain. But, since I started using TriFlow to lube the chain, not even mud or sand will stick to it. The teflon thats in the Triflow just repels gunk

I use to use that Maxima chain wax. Talk about a joke for off-road use, everything seemed to stick to it. Then it would just fling all that wax/dirt all over the rear end of the quad.

Oh hey, didn't realize you are a fellow Saginawer(???) You should know where Carquest (West Side Auto) on State street is then, maybe It is a little expensive though, about $7 a can. Thats because of the Teflon in it. But it is great stuff. I also use it on my shocks, tie rod ends, steering componets, basicly anywhere that could use some lube. I also like to spray it on my axel during the winter to prevent rust

I use Honda HP chain lube I think it's probably similar to the tri-flow. Chain wax sucks big time.

I got some VP chain lubricant at a motorcycle shop. It seems to keep my chain respectable.
