Ok I have a 2000 ds650 and my cousin has an 03 baja… I had a stage 3 jetkit, filter and endcap and I could walk away from him no problem… I could sit at a dead stop let him take off and get half way through first gear then I would take off and smoke past him like nothing… then pull about 8-10 bike lengths on him before hitting the limiter in 5th.. I had NO trouble with him at all.. Well I installed my new MBRP exhaust and we went out today and guess what… I cant catch him AT ALL… we raced several times and I just could not catch him… this is insane I used to be able to toy around with him and now I am eating his dust… is this normal for these exhaust systems??? I wouldn’t care but this made a HUGE difference.. If this is just how they perform I am going out to cut that damn baffle out right now because I am very disappointed…

MisterHP I was running my own end cap that I made.. it had a 2 1/2 inch opening.. I like the look of it also so I was thinking about just drillin a couple more holes in the baffle to open it up a little more..

 

I also got rid of my MBRP pipe for the same reason... My stock pipe outperformed the MBRP!
