FYI

Just looked at the 7 pages of ebay items under the search, bombardier and found several quads that are being sold numerous times for different prices by different people...the same quad! Puttnutt has his very nice looking '02 Baja listed...same page "luleaf" has it listed (see item #2441965345). There also is a baja x with a buy it now for $3000...no location listed. The same x is list two other times--same exact layout...UNBELIEVABLE! Why can't ebay do something to stop this bs?

Anyone doing bidness on ebay better use every single caution...or plan on getting burned!

 

Yep it's just stupid on ebay now, there is no way I would buy a quad on there unless it was local or if I was going to go pick it up.

Are you sure they just aren't 'New' crate quads sold by different dealers? This is something that a lot of dealers are using to get rid of spare stock. Take your crate quad and put it on ebay for some quick cash. I also see several of the same Baja X quad sold under the same dealer.

Also, check out the feedback reviews for each person selling.

ironrod they are the same picture of the baja X on a 5th wheel trailer on a farm i think but no way these are dealer pictures! I do a lot of business on ebay but i might have to look closer from now on. this is BS, they are stealing other peoples pictures & selling a avt under market value & taking peoples money that don't know no better! Sorry but this is BS! I buy alot & sell alot on ebay but if this is not taken care of soon then I will no longer do business with anyone on ebay! Yep, Yep, ebay is getting bad, just go through the F-250 search and you will see the same thing. I will only buy parts from people that will give me my money back if I am not satisfied. Only one time that happened and he returned the fifty dollars I spent.

 

You guys aint kidding. I was just on there today and on 1 page of raptors there was like 3 or 4 scams. Its getting bad.

 

I saw the same auctions earlier today. I would like to find these A$$holes and put my foot in there A$$ES. Its people like that mess it up for everyone.

 

Ernie660R, you are right, this happens on all ebay auctions. most of us from the forums have help each other out. I don't know how many people out there have know clue. my dad just bought a new 4x4, & i'm gad it was from a dealer even thought he could have gotten a better deal off of ebay. There are people out there that need the money & are honest but these scum bags F it up for everyone, i'm sorry for this rant, I just get over worked over this BS. I'm not pointing any fingers, just venting. Lets help everyone out, if you see something that isn't right, please post it. Thanks! I'm a fan of the Forums!

Thanks COUNTRYJOEGLASS, if you see something you want to bid on.

1) How many sales has the person done, and how many satisfied customers. If they do not have better than 90 % rating. FORGET IT!!!

2) Email the person selling or even call him if a phone number is provided. If you do not get a responce back, FOREGET IT!!

3) Last of all never pick (buy it know) option unless you have reached the seller and he has a good rating. Know matter how good it looks.

 

Report these A HOLES. If they get a few complaints then they will investigate it. Remember there lively hood depends on ebay being sucessfull. It doesnt take much to get E Bay involved in any investigation.
