nos activation?
#1
has anyone running nitrous used or tried a rpm activation box? they use a plug in chip. pick the rpm at which you want the nitrous activated, plug in that chip and the nitrous will inject precisely. i cars and snowmobiles i have hooked up systems in which the nitrous is injected at WOT. i dont like the rpm system because i dont feel it is as efficient. i would just hook up a system with the usual button and just stay simple, and fairly reliable.

see laughin i would think that if it were set to come in at say 6000RPM then it would be injected at any rpm higher then 6000 and if being injected for more than 6 or so seconds well you know what will happen. and if in tight woods with an atv you are usually always over 6000rpms so say you go around a corner feed out the clutch and hit 6000 you are gonna nail a tree. that guy with the ski must have a lot of cash in his pocket being able to replaces cases, rods, and pistons almost every time he break 20 mph! lol so hows that ds run on juice? pretty fast?

Laughinggas I have a stage 3 on nos that I run at St Joes with. I have built a lot of the DS's that run around St Joes. We need to get together on a nicer day and have some racing.
Just let me know, I'm sure there will be a bunch of guys that will be wanting to line up .
Watch out for the white and blue Banshee ,Its fast.

thebom i would assume your nitrous system is set to come in at wide open throttle right? also laughingas do you have any traction problems when the nitrous starts flowing? i know on my old sled which was a 650 polaris with 380 studs that was on the bottle when i hit the button for the first time i got thrown off the back of the sled because the skis lifted so high at 95mph lol. i love nitrous man. is anyone makin a turbo kit yet for the ds's?

hey THEBOMB, it would be great to hook up with @ st.joe and whip up on some non "ds" bikes. i say this because i use to ride a raptor. proud to say i have seen the errow of my ways. have you done anything with the stock battery mount. i am in the middle of designing/fabricating a mount under the seat. any advice would be welcome.

MOJAVE, traction is sometimes a problem. my biggest problem @ the moment is the hauler paddles like to fold over. they will not go back to the proper shape until you let off the throttle. anyone else have this problem?

Sounds like a good time for us and a bad time for the other racers. LOL J/K Try 5 to 6 lbs of air in your tiress, it will stop them from folding back. There will be some fast bikes up there this year. I know of 3 stage 3s running alky, a couple of stage 2s on NOS and not counting the plain stage 2s and stage 1s how fast they are. There are some fast Banshees and Raptors now and then.
If its nice we might try it this weekend, depending on how much rain we get.
