Just finished breaking in my stage two kit and was wondering if it would help to run higher octane gas, what would be better,
93 octane
108 and 93 50/50 mix for something in the middle
108 octane

My comp is 11.5 to 1 RWR stage two kit. And is there any jetting changes going from say 93 to 108?

 

At 11.5:1, I'd stay at just the usual high octane from the pump.
From what others have said on this site, you would probably lose hp by going to a higher grade.

for racing just run the pump for hard duning i add a gallon of 110 to 5 gallon jug, always thought it would help the engine last longer.

 

When I was running my 11.5:1, I ran 1/2 race gas with 1/2 premium pump - I never had a problem but Im sure there was some unburned octane.

 

The trick is to run the minimum octane that will allow your engine to run "ping free". IE Detonation or preignition.

If you run 93 and you still hear pinging, apparently it is not high enough.

Mix up some smaller amounts, ride to test, and go up some more if needed.
