Default Ball joint question?

I had my a-arms & swingarm powdercoated and when I was putting my ball joints back in I noticed they went in alot easier than they came out. When I got it all back together I noticed that the upper right ball joint was moving when I turned the wheels. I remember there being some dried green colored liquid on the ball joints when I took them apart. Is that some kind of ball joint glue or something? And if so what is it called and where do I get it?

Its called thread locker. You can get it at any parts store. You might want to check torque specs too.

Default Ball joint question?

There is no torque where the ball joint goes into the arm. I looked for green thread lock and can't find it. My friend thinks it's the green threadlock that they use on roller coasters. Just want to be sure.

Default Ball joint question?

Do the ball joints thread into the arm, or is there a nut on either side to hold it in place?

They push in and are held in by a clip.

Oh Yeah, I can picture them now.
I would be a littel careful with threadlocker, it can wreak havoc on rubber.
Did you re use the clips? Possily they got bent a little?
I would imagine that the ball joint spinning a little is no biggie. As long as the clip is in, it can't drop or lift out.
You might just have a thinner grease in them now too.
