Rally Question(s)
#2
I have one. Had to turn the factory idle up a tad. Also, rear brake control on left handlebar grip is crappy design. Only use right foot control to operate rear brake. Otherwise a very capable little machine. If you only have $3K to spend and want a full auto quad, I would recommend it.

Awesome machines. My brother has three. Ditto on the rear brake issue mentioned above.
My brother went from a Raptor to the Rally and likes it better. It has great ground clearance and can go other places that 2wd machines fear to tread due to the skid plate design. It is great for beginners and surprisingly fun for experienced riders. If any other 2wd can go on a trail, the Rally can do it better. I'm convinced of that. I only had to tow one out of a bind just once on the last trip to Windrock. To put that in perspective, I had to winch out two other machines from places the Rallys went right through. One of the machines was a Yamaha Wolverine, 4wd, that had hung up its skid plate on rocks that the Rally slid right over. The guy couldn't believe the Rally was 2wd.
One of the Rallys is equipped with the optional sprocket, giving it slightly more low end power at the expence of no more than 2mph top end. I think it is worth it if you ride in rugged areas or like to climb steep hills. Check out my pics to see a couple of shots of Rallys in action. I'll be adding some more from this week soon.
