You know everyonce in a while we get some peckerhead Yamaha owner coming in here and blasting our choice of ATV. Does he really expect us to drop what we like for his outdated peice of rickety crap? I don't understand idiots like him.

btw.... one thing Yamaha does not have over Bombarider is attention to detail.

Raptors= One Way Bearing issues and trannies are known to go
Banshees = Poor Airbox Design, ultra crap suspension and tires and 15 year old past technology
Raptor 80 = pi$$ poor front suspension design and same crap as a Badger
Warrior = two valve machine.. displace like a shee but runs like 200 cc bike heavy for it's size

ALL THIER ATV'S ARE A PAIN IN THE **** TO ADJUST THE CHAINS... again no attention to detail. I own a Raptor and the chain adjustment is utter crap.

Only thing they did right was FINALLY give the Blaster it's due with new plastic and a rear disc brake. I don't know why cause they are going to phaze out your luvable 2 smoke motor in 2005. The YZF is also the only ATV in thier line that isn't riddled with problems....YET.

I think the DS did pretty good. I have a 2000 model and it hasn't really given me any mechanical problems yet. My Raptor which is newer has given me a lot more headaches than my DS.

We have two kinds of people.. one who encourages the growth of different manufacturers bringing new selections of ATVs to the table and then others who insist on being stuck with the same old nothing new.

I agree with hoover on that and it a stock bore stock stroke banshee is the least of your worries come get some. Juat what kind of time do you get out of your Dick Sucker around here everyone says thats what DS stands for cause its a P.O.S.

Yeah I think the Yamaha Forums are broken... obviously this character has nothing better to do than bash a superior machine.

 

Get the V. It is the best quad for trail riding. If you are gonna race then go for the yfz.

 

The DS is ok...but considering that they weigh so much, modifications are costly, repair is costly, and aftermarket is limited......i dont care for mine or any other DS.

As for the Banshee lets see...its light, mods are cheap, repair is cheap, aftermarket is so large its unbelievable!!, as for when you do one mod it seems like it does so much you keep doing more!!

I mean go ahead hate on the banshee....go ahead.....see whos kickin whos a$$ in the dunes buddy!
