I would like to thank my mom and the academy. I got approved for my DS650 Baja X. This has got to be the best Christmas ever. It ranks right up there with, when me and the girlfriend…. Well ill spare the details. I go and pick it up from Eugene on Saturday morning, and I should be in Florence by 11 am. Yayyyy. I need a tissue.
Who is good and cheap to get insurance through. I have to have that before I can get my quad, and do insurance companies let you pay monthly for coverage on a quad.
Do I really need to follow the break in directions. I have been told that you want to be nice to it for the first hour or two and then it doesn’t matter. But this baby has got to last me. I’m graduating from a built LT250r and there wasn’t one ride where I didn’t have to fix something.

Merry Christmas, congratulations, and welcome to the forum, brother! Definately change your oil after the first weekend of riding...regular maintenance will reward you with many years beyond payoff of your new machine. Shop around for the insurance...prices will vary!

Congrats on the new ride. I am insured through Foremost on my '03 Baja for approx $112 year. I pay bi-annual (every 6 months). Do keep in mind your age, location, and driving record will play a huge role in what your premiums will be.
You will love this machine. The more time you put on it, the better the power gets.

I just looked at an x at mt.hood polaris. $6400 I thought they had different shocks on the front? they told me they are the same. anyway, congrats on the new x. and winchester bay is way better than coosbay for larger hills.

I pay 165/year at Progressive. 37, no tickets/points. It doesn't hurt to make the call or try the web for a quote.
