Default 03 changes to airbox?

Does anybody know if there was any change to the 03's airbox? Is it shorter? I heard a rumor that the BD6500 K&N stock replacement filter does not fit 03+ models. I would like to confirm this.

Thanks

Ironrod, I got the k&n filter that goes in the stock airbox. I thought it wasnt going to fit at first but after wrestling with it for awhile i got it to fit. It goes in hard, but its not hitting the back or anything, just gotta slide the backend in first. I do know that the k&n filter is an inch or two longer than the stock filter.

Also, I just went out in the garage to check the numbers on the filter and its a BD6500.

Sounds good. I hadn't heard of any changes to the '03 model, but a friend said he couldn't get his to fit on his '03 model. It looks like its just as tight of a fit as it's always been.

Thanks!
