I think everyone would love to have a 8 team play off. But you have to remember that these PLayers are STUDENTS too. They cant be treated like professional atheletes. they have to still go to class,.maintain a decent GPA,and graduate. Right now they are playing 13/14 games a year, heardly ever get to spend holidays with thier families,nd are constantly trying to keep the grades decent. They are always being watched by the media, so they cant act like regular 19,20,21 years olds in college. These Student athletes are constantly battling injury, and work a minimium of 10 hours a day on Football alone.

Have you ever wondered why some team/Players seem to have Bad games? I'm sure that much Pressure on a 19 year old has got to eventually run them down. These are not Professionals that get payed Millions and have nothing else todo but play.

The BCS WORKS! or alteast it works better than the "human Factor" did. Is it fair that OU be left out of the Title game cause they lost their last game? when the other two teams lost also, but earlier in the season? NO, the BCS looked at the WHOLE season, took the WHOLE season Strength of schedual into consideration, and OU still came out in 1st place. What does that say for USC?? It says to them Step UP!! on your Non-conference shchedual, and it also tells the PAC10 to STEP UP.

if all that is what's going on maybe we should just have conference champs and leave it at that. that being said i think all the students would want a play off. oregon got denied 2 years ago and schooled colorado to show the present system isn't working. and now it has happened again.

USC--controlled thier own destiny, next year play some better non-conference teams,or get yourselves a pack10 title game then try agian. Fact is the BCS was put into place cause of Human favoritism. It forces Teams to play Harder scheduels, and not just load up on Pattsies.

bigger, the reason this system doesn't work is because you can never predict what type of teams you are going to play that year, i.e. how was usc to know that a traditionally strong notre dame and auburn would become punching bags that could be dominated. i think they should go to a system that rates a teams strength of schedule based on the past five years of their opponents win percentage. this way, when you are scheduling a notre dame, you won't get punished due to one terrible year

come on, usc out of 12 regular season games won 8 by 20+, 1 by 30+, and 1 by 40+ points. that means only twice did they fail to absolutely dominate their opponents. their only loss came in triple overtime, which is more than you can say for oklahoma, who got it handed to them 35-7 by k-state!!!
