what to due about kms fuel injection ??????
#1
i just recived back an email on the fuel injection setup from kms. the told me the basics of the system that it will compensate for altitude and temp, but when they send it out it only has a standard map in it. they say it needs to be put on a dyno to get the mapping dialed in. they are in pheniox i am in new york. they say any motorcycle shop with a dyno should be able to dial it in. but i dont know if i would trust a local shop to dial in someone elses fuel injection. and its alot of money to spen on somthing that i will not see any performance gain over a tm 45. oh ya , they also saind they can set up for alky!!!!!!!!! i guess i need to know if its worth the cash. seems like a system that is at the perfect air fuel ratio all the time with never having to rejet would be awesome, but i donot want to lose performance over what i have now. what do you guys think

If you lived close enough to drive there and have them set it up no big deal. However since this is such a new system it seems like you would be opening yourself up to a whole host of problems. I don't think it's worth it to be the guinea pig from 3,000 miles away. Let one of the guys in Arizona do that - once it's all worked out, then buy your kit.
