You ran the motorcycle up Pike's Peak, or you ran the dial a jet on a motorcycle, or both?

I ran the race on a flat track motorcycle.

Have you experimented with a dial a jet yet?

Everyone I've ever talked to that had one said it's pretty much worthless for anything but small altitude changes and small temperature changes.

y'know, the post was made from a racing point of view. Sprinters run dial-a-jets so they can dial in mileage or power, kind or like the buttons on an IRL car (run setting 4, whatever that means today). I know there wat a dial-a-jet kit for Mikuni carbs a long time a go, basically a tapered needle screw instead of a main jet. Go race. You won't win your first race, I don't care how fast you go. Of course, there are exceptions to every rule!

Well, if it helps even a little, that's good. I'll try one on the dyno soon. If anyone has experimented with one themselves, I'd like some head start on info.
