Rev limiter

Default Rev limiter

just wondering if it hurts the motor to run it up against the limiter? iv'e heard guys say you can run it there all day long and never hurt it. please respond....... thanks all[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-confused.gif[/img]

Default Rev limiter

Run it there all day long. You can't hurt the mighty ROTAX, especially with the limiter. That's how I drag. I'll sit on the line pinned and dump it in 2nd when everybody goes.

Default Rev limiter

Its possible that all that unburned gas could leave excessive deposits when running up against the Rev Limiter for a long period of time.
