I lost my key on my Traxxter and had the ignition punched out a couple of weeks ago and wanted to know where I can buy another OEM ignition. Any thoughts? Could I put in a generic one from Autozone or Advance Auto Parts or NAPA? I used a switch on my 300ex after teh key was stolen and that worked fine but I really want a key. How easy is it to wire up with teh theft deterrent system on Bombardier Traxxters?

 

most key shops can get a number off a switch and make a new key it cost like 12 bucks

 

Yes, but my ignition was punched out. I need an entire ignition switch and key, not just a replacement key. Can I purchase a generic one?
