Default Lack of power, 03 Rally

My son decided to slow down going up a steep soft hill and flipped it. It landed upside down in the sand and stalled, I got to it about 15 seconds later and turned it over. It started right up but lost about 25 to 30% of its normal power. There was no external damage, and I can't find the problem, please help if you have any ideas.

Is it just out of power while in gear or all of the time?

Did you check the choke and maybe the vent tube ?

The choke is set properly, but where is the vent tube? I checked the so called air filter and it was dirty but not too restrictive, and I cleaned it.

The vent tube comes out the bottom of the carb. I made mine longer and ran it up where the air filter is so no water or mud get in it .

O.K. I checked the vent tube and it is clear, and the exhaust is also clear. After pulling a few more pieces of plastic off I noticed on the inlet side of the carb, the intake pipe was loose, so I tightened it up. What is the 4" pipe that vents the cvt that is over the exhaust? I followed it and it then exits through a 1.5" tube that is routed to the bottom of the handle bars and air cleaner. All it seems to do is route dirty air from the back of the quad to the air cleaner Any other sugestions would be appreciated.

The tube by the exhaust is the intake from the cvt i believe ,if you put your hand over it while its running you can feel it sucking air in . The other one I dont know I will have to look at mine and see. I made a cover to put over the big hose by the exhaust so no mud and water can get in .

After looking at the big hose, it looks like it is intended to keep the cvt cool with fresh air. But the other hose that exits the cvt and dumps right at the air cleaner does'nt make sense. I know that I have run it in deeper water that that rear hose and filled the cvt with water, but did'nt seem to hurt it.

Describe what "lost power" means? Does it miss? Does it run ok, but just feel flat? How does it smell? Rich? Did you pull the plug yet? How does it look?
Answer these ??'s and we can get closer to the problem.
