I put a new spal fan on my "01" DS650 and that didnt fix my problem, the fan isnt coming on at all, so i thought it might be my relay. Has anyone else have or had this problem and let me know what is wrong. Where can i find a relay on the web? Thanks

There is no relay in your DS, at least not installed by the factory. Check the fuses under the seat, the temp switch or the wiring.

I know I have 2 relays on my Baja, one is for my aux. lights, and the other relay is for the fan. The fan relay is mounted next to the cdi, and the light relay is next to the left side light.

I had a problems with my baja lights. Fuse was blown so I replaced the fuse but still no lights. I pulled the relay and put a new one in, presto! I had lights that worked. I didn't know a relay could go bad like that.

Usually, you can jiggle the two connectors on your temp switch / sensor and get the fan to turn on. (Assuming it's hot enough.) Also try pulling the connectors off the temp switch / sensor then jump them together and the fan should come on instantly. If it does, that'ed tell you it's the temp switch / sensor that went bad, which is very common. On later years, Bombardier started putting some silicon on the plugs so that they can't move independatly and thus fewer problems.
