Can someone tell me how much do u torc the head bolts and jug bolts after u install a new piston? Thanks

 

I believe the service manual calls for 44 ft-lbs however many feel that the spec is high. I just did mine the other day and if your torque wrench is calibrated and you know what you are doing you won't have a problem. You'd be amazed how many people don't know how to use a torque wrench.

Just in case.....

Torque the four main nuts first. Use a cross pattern and start at 30 ft-lbs. then do it at 38 ft-lbs, and then 42 ft-lbs. Your last torque should be right on the money at 44 ft-lbs.
