The mods i have is alba complete pipe with race end cap, K&N filter, 45mm carb, ported intake, and barnett clutch kit. Is that enough for the 12:5:1 piston? I will be running race fuel.

I had a 13:1 piston in my YZ250F and I ran 100 octane, it would actually run pretty good on 94 octane!

Hey TellicoGrizz660, what mods did u have in ur motor besides the piston? Did u have any problems out of ur motor when u put the piston in? How long did u break the piston in before u really got back on the throttle? Lance

The performance shop I had my work done at installed only a cast-iron sleeve in my bike, no other mods! But my YZ250F had a 12:1 compression piston in it already! It bumped the bike up to a 262cc, but its now a 285 with different motor work! But my break in was very simple, I rode the bike about 20 mins till it was good and hot then I would shut it down and let it cool down COMPLETELY, repeated that same process one more time, after it was completely cooled, I rode it how I race it, as fast as possible!!! Hope that helps! Also absolutely NO problems!
