Default Thumb throttle for Lectron 46 HV?

Who sales a thumb throttle that will work with the Lectron 46 HV? I see Rocky Mountain ATV has a Moose billet thumb throttle that will open up to a 44mm. What are you Lectron guys running, don't want a twist or modify my stock one.

moose. It'll do it; if you grind a few threads off of the adjuster. 46.5mm is another story....

I'm paying $125 for mine, plus whatever the cable is on top of that. I figure the price is worth it - I don't want anything jury rigged on my Quads.

What does it take to modify the stock throttle to open the 46hv?

Funny, my mrhp moose thumber had a arrow that said grind here......

He was competitive on his price.

In reference to the stocker, lots of grinding. Then you end up with a less than optimal install with a fairly long throw. If you're real careful, you can modify a stocker and not have the parts open to the elements.

The modified stocker does have a long throw, it took a while to get used to. Although it was kinda nice, I thought I was at full throttle and then I was like, wait there is still more. I would like to hear about the moose, I have read post from mrHP that clearly said grinding is not needed for the 46hv, but slowride state that his came from mrHP and came with instructions on where to grind. How does the moose feel? Is it stiffer then the stock? From the pictures it seems that the moose has a smaller area for your thumb, is this noticeable?

Slowride got the first moose with an old style cable thats why he had to grind a few threads off. I now have new cables made up to work with the moose with no grinding necessary. Moose says 44mm max but the 46HV works just fine. Sorry for the confusion.

Default Thumb throttle for Lectron 46 HV?

From what I can see.. Terrycable makes the same thumb throttle. I got one on my DS now and the throw is adjustable. However getting the right cable seems to be a problem. I ordered one from them (fit and finish is great) however it's too short and the wire part of the cable was too long. I ordered a new one at the cost of getting another but I told them how much longer I wanted it and how much shorter the wire in the cable should be.
