went to the local bomb dealer to pick up my aluminium upper a-arms and was talking about the snowmoblies that they are clearing out. well the sales guy says there starting to hear the word that a 450 class quad is going to be coming thinks in about a year. i know we've seen this for about the last three years but hey what good timing by bomb let the other brands throw there cards on the table this time, and then bring in the real deal. i mentioned the v-twin that jeff posted and he said they have several other 4 strokes to work with also. well might be just another rumor, but the timing sounds good to me my junior pilot should be ready to challenge sparks about that time. [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img] the other thing i noticed the price of the ds's are coming down they have reds for 5500 and x's for 6100. and you might think the ds is big but when you can get one for less than any other brand that might start to get a few more buyers. seems the 400 class is starting at 5600

That Aprilla motor would turn the ATV world upside down. That would seriously put Bomb on the board, and for good.

 

JMO but I think if Bomb puts as much thought and effort into a 400/450 class machine as they did with the Rally, Yamaha and Honda better lookout! They truely have the resourse to make a class winning machine in that class.

I would love to see Bomb drop a Bomb on the MX sceen.....kind of give Yamaha, Honda, and Kawisuki a b!tch slap telling them if they want to keep on with the high sales they will have to kick it up a notch.

I've been seriously thinking about selling the dirtbike (YZ426F) and getting a second quad. Was pretty well set on the DS as a second quad to match my baby. I guess I just like the way a big set of twins look [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img][img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-blush.gif[/img][img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img] . . . but. . . a Rotax 450??? Sounds very interesting.
