150 lbs enough for DS650?
How about a YFZ? That's big and bad, and will kick it's big brother butt around any track.
The Raptor was a big bad machine when it came out, but it really is yesterday's news. IT is tippy, top heavy, and not that much fun to ride. My son had one. I always thought it felt like a great big motor with handlebars attached.
The DS is one of a kind. I love my X, my third DS, but I'm a old guy who likes a lot of smooth with his fast.
The Banshee is pre-historic, with crummy suspension and handling. Great for Dunes, drags and little else.
The Z and KFX are great quads, but I can understand your need for a little more speed.
Of course with just a little help, like a pipe and a CDI, they will keep right up with a stock Raptor in a drag race, and they cost considerably less than a YFZ, enough to afford some goodies. I think it is the best overall sport quad out there.
It all depends on not only how fast you want to go, but what kind of amenities you want along the way, like a seat you can actually sit on, and overall user friendliness, which the Z and KFX have in great amounts, and the YFZ has little of, other than electric start.
How much smooth do you want with your fast?
These quads are all fast, it is the smooth that varies in large quantities. The DS is the smoothest, most refined, next the Z, KFX and probably the Predator. Then it starts to get a little rough with the Yamahas and the new TRX. Ride them all. Let your butt decide.

150 lbs enough for DS650?
i want the most speed out of the stock fourwheelers, but i also want a good trail bike cuz thats what were gonna be doing... and i heard the raptor was a good trail bike....but the DS650 i heard was a beast in speed... i want speed, and i dont think the yfz is gonna be one of my choices because of the price issue i dont really care about the seat even tho it is uncomfortable
