Broke the clutch lever on the case!!! HELP!
#1
Where can i find the little lever that goes on top of the clutch cover, that your clutch cable connects to. Mine snapped today when i got my clutch springs in and put everything back together. It made me mad because it always seems like something all ways happens right before u get to start it up and get to brake it in after having mods added to the engine. If u know what i am talking about where could i find this little part. I tryed j b welding it but it just snapped again. Thanks for all the help. If u dont know what i am talking about let me know and i will try to better explain it. Lance

If you're talking about the piece that is like a "C" shape and is part of the cover. . . Finally, I'm not the only one!
I ended up finding someone else with an extra clutch cover and paying them for it. I was looking at it this weekend though and you could probably get a couple longer allens to replace the ones that hold the cover to the cases and fab a bracket out of steel that would fit behind it (take a look at a Raptor and see how they do it.) This would be a great item to sell to others that run into the same issue. Saves having to buy new case covers and you could probably have it chromed for an added touch.

Bought a new one from the dealer for about $35. Bought some rod and flux, you use with a torch, for pot metal at the welding shop. Worked fine, now have a spare in the tool box.

$25 is good. My dealer doesn't even stock it. They had to special order it. It is a part one should have a spare of. Maybe someone can make a stronger one, and help us all out.
