Default Oil Capacity Question

First post here. Great site. I look forward to reading all the posts here. I did a search but could not find exactly what I was looking for.
Do you know what the oil capacity is for a 2001 DS 650 with a filter change? Local shop says three quarts but it's not even marking on the dipstick after adding three.

3.6 qts. is what my shop manual and owner manual says. but that allways seems to be a bit shy.

My 00 takes just about 4.

My 03 takes 3.5.

Go figure.

My 2001 and 2003 drink up about 4 quarts & then everything looks good on the dip stick.
