Default anybody else have this problem

My tail light on my ds keeps burning out but the brake light is fine. It has did this since it was new, no big deal really but at night it would be nice if it worked. Anybody have any ideas what the problem could be. thanks for any help in advance.

i've seen a loose wire short to ground/case at the bulb socket. double check very closely.

My buddy's ds did that all the time until he installed a LED bulb. It hasn't burned out since.

Vibration is a killer. I had the same problem. I just saw in Rocky Mt there is a led tail light. If you don't want to spend the money, try a 1187 heavy duty. They should be in most auto parts stores. They cost a little bit more than a standard 1187 but last at least twice as long.

The heavy duty didn't help me at all.

I ended up buying a LED tail-light off eBay. LED's last forever.

This is one of the few things the rangers will ticket us for at Sand Mt. so, I didn't want to deal with them and decided to caugh up the $$ and take care of the problem.

Hopefully Bomb will upgrade their tail-light next year with an LED one. Honda put one on their new 450R and i think that will get the rest of the industry to follow.

I put in a led bulb and mine has lasted 6 months and is still going. The parts store had them with the fast and furious stuff.
