Default Outlander 400 questions

Alright my brother-n-law is considering an outlander 400 the 2 seater he likes what he has read about it but the only question he has is how is it in the mud. Not just mud but deep rutted out mud, it has 9.3" of ground clearance and that could pose a problem but does the SST frame help it in any way in the ruts or is just like other machines that bottom out or does the frame help it to keep from bottoming out where it is narrow unlike others. Any info would be helpful.
