Hi
I want to get some aluminum heel gars for my DS. Do they all have attachments to the rear renders like the stock ones do, the reason I ask is becasue I want to cut back my fenders and if i do then the hell gard attachemnts go bye bye. Do some attach to the frame or else ware? If so, whats a good brand/place to get them

not sure i've seen a ds with cut fenders and heel guards, those seem to go with the rest of the cut off.

 

All the heel guards that I have seen mount to the pegs and to the frame where the stock ones mount. They do look dumb with no fenders and leaving the healguards on so don't cut your plastic till you see it. Diamond G makes the best heelguards in my opinion, but AC and I think Pro Armor, and Roll Design, and DG also make some. You can buy the Diamond G's straight from them, or from on dunes performance.

I have the Areo techs and I LOVE THEM.. I think they look the BEST of all... They are not well knowend but they are sweet!!! I wish they did make a kit that mounted to the frame on top. I wish somebody would make them.. I would then remove my fenders...

The Roll design IMS aluminum heel guards look good without the fenders and mount to the pegs and the frame. You can see mine on Albas picture page. I love them and just ordered my second pair for my new DS. They are for the roll design pegs but I made a spacer to use them with my stock pegs. They are the ones you always see in the middle of dirt wheels on that quad tricked out by Roll design. Later
