everyone makes the statement that a banshee is just better, and in the sand in a drag race they are the king for now, hands down. now what about the desert races, or just plain duning, riding whoops, jumping, fuel . the areas of use are more than a drag race. my ds is starting to run with some of the faster banshees so we do a machine swap here and there and the banshee will beat you to the ground and then pound you some more. i do like all the mods they have though

(Sandman, you're too nice )

It's time to go work in the garage. Too much time on the forums and I loose patience for idiot posts like this.

The matchup I was talking about above was on asphalt, and it was about the same on flat sand. I've never ridden with my cousin in big dunes, so I don't know how our bikes would compare when hillshooting.

Maybe my DS just runs better than average... I like to think so anyway.

I don't know about stock to stock because the usual person will modify both in a matter of time. What was wrong with bad02shee's post.It was short and simple. That is one of my motors he has and he still uses the bone stock crank(welded),bone stock 64mm bore and my full drag port. There isn't a DS that will touch him except for scooby and he's got a lot more time and money invested. The banshee is the drag king and always will be,ya'll just keep on tryin' to be fast.

OK it dont take much to know that a ds is slow. Put the smae mods on a ds i have on mine and we will race. This would be ported alky carb and pipes and timing advance thats all i have so when ever you want to try to beat me dollar for dollar go ahead and try cause it wont happen.

The ds is somewhat faster stock than a stock shee.

No one made the claim that the ds, or any 4 stroke for that matter, can match a banshee mod for mod.
