I have one ordered
I took my stock one off for a look today once u see it out and see the bore of the exaust inside u willl understand how going full flow will free up the ponies
the stocker is choking your bike, however it also keeps it quite and spark arrests it so u might want to consider these factors as well

tes there are small baffles inside my 00's down tubes or should I say it did. I cut off carefully the spark arrester screen, cut off the tubes inside where tey are reduced down. Then I re-flared the tubes (need to?) welded the screen back on . not a lot more flow, but not loud either.

After I spent $7000 on an ATV, I don't see the reason in going ultra cheap and making my own - perhaps I could get some HP, but it'ed look like hell. Mr. HP actually dyno tests his stuff, so you know for the $100 you get the best HP for your money. Not to mention the billet end cap looks sweet! I've seen -one- modified end cap that looked good, the rest looked like hell.
