St. Joe's, Missouri this weekend????

I'm running around here trying to get everything ready. Had to reshim my valves. I went from the 110's to the 109's Wednesday, all clearances were around .003" but I had to test ride it anyway. So today I have it shimmed right, put it together and it doesn't have the top end zing it had the other day.
Today I also installed the '04 intake adapter. I'm 99.9% sure cams timing is right, tinkering around with the jetting a little with no success. I had always ran between 270 and 290 main. I had the 290 in when I changed cams, rode it and it felt flat on top. Figuring I may getting more air flow I tried a 310. Feels about the same.
It still is strong through mid rpms (4500-6500) but the other day it was EVIL between 6500 and 8000.
I'm confused, gonna tinker some more.

What time will you guys be there?
Any camping or motels there?
What is nearest town so I can get directions from Mapquest?
If my wife don't go Mr Hp is more than welcome to hitch a ride with me, he's pretty much on the way.

There shouldn't be any trouble getting a motel at Farming ton. Lots of places, even at the road entrance to St Joes there's a Days Inn.
I haven't heard from MrHP today, I been very busy.
We should be there about 10:30, give or take.

Don't guess I will make it tomorrow. 70% chance of rain too risky for 9 hour drive (one way).
Next pretty weekend I'll be there.
Thanks to everyone who offered to help me out.

Well it turned out to be a pretty good weekend after all. The rain didn't hit till about 3:00. It was a large crowd for the weatherman crying rain for 2 days.
Not as many drag racers as usual , but lots of riders.
I guess I well see most of you at Dexter April 24 at the dirt drags.
Be safe.

Come up 55 north to Sikeston and go west to Dexter.
Yes , 300ft dirt drags. All heads up . There different classes for about everybody. A wheelie bar is needed but not required.
All electronic timers and speed. Best tire is pro wedge or oshu knobby.
Come loaded for bear. Its a tough crowd !!

Went riding Sunday too...hardly anyone there. Fried my clutch without doubt. Are those Alba extra plate clutches holding up better than stock? The little added boost was to much Jeff.
