Ok, need suspension help.
Now that I got the parts in the quad I have a hard time keeping front down. At first it was fun but now its scarey! 4th gear twist the gas and it lifts!
I think I need to soften the front and rear shocks to my proper sag now that I lost 40 lbs and new arms. BUT should I drop it an extra inch on each to make it squat more and not lift? BUT I dont want to bottom the quad out on jumps and such. So what do you recomend I try??
Other option is to put in a 16 or 17 front end but I REALLY enjoy the low/mid range hit.

With the plus 1 forward arms and a -1 swingarm you moved all the weight to the rear of the DS. You can try taking some preload out of your shocks so the quad sits lower. I wouldnt go to much more than 4-5in of sag with you on the quad for the rear and level the front up to that at ride height.

Let us know how that works out
i have an 04 and find it a little light in front to i was thinking of trying extra sag but was told it would make the front tippy, but i am still keen on giving it a try.
Im at work now and wont be home for three weeks so you have plenty of time to do the experements for me

Wont 6that make it more inclined to lift the front as it will make the bike sit higher at the front than at the rear?
Im not arguing i am asking i dont have any expiriance in setting up a DS
So all info and suggestions are apreciated
i hit a large bump on the top of a steep grass hillclimb last time out and it was quite close to being a crash , a freind on an EX hit the same part with a less dramatic outcome,
