Default oil screen??

think about it, this screen filters contaminents running through your oil. If you remove it, those particles will be floating around in your oil and could potentially harm your engine. (i havnt cleaned mine out yet, but i guess they get pretty nasty)

tell him to take one out and he will probably find out why people have to clean them..... get enough crap clogged up in there and your oil wont flow....no oil= KABOOM...and KABOOM= $$$

Look at it this way, better safe than sorry. It only takes like 2 minutes to pull it out and clean it. Preventive maintenance goes along way.....

The oil screen everyone is talking about is at the bottom of the oil tank. Its on the inside of the hose that runs to your motor.
