does anyone have this problem when u shut the ds off it kinda makes like almost a clunk noise? hard to explain the sound sounds kinda ruff tho maybe normal hopefully nothing major [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-sad.gif[/img]

 

Mine does that too, I think it's just the odd time when you shut it off and there is still a little compression in the cylinder it slams the pistion down or something. Maybe not to that extreme, but similar, i dunno thats just what i rubbed it off as.

 

I had a real obnoxious clunk sound at shut down and sometimes on start up if the bike didn't fire up immediately, turned out my sprag clutch was going out and was getting loose. Somehow my stator worked it's way loose aswell and it did a bunch of damage. Sprag clutch is much cheaper to replace than the stator, without hearing your noise it's kinda hard to tell for sure, mine was intermitent but got gradually worse until it was too late. Might wanna look into it.
