AV Gas?
#2
Avgas is nice because it is consistant, like race gas.
It doesn't change with the seasons, "oxyagenated", or sometimes contain alcohol or other additives like car gas.
It does contain lead and should not be used with "cats" or O2 sensors.
Also I have heard that some two stroke oils don't stay mixed with it but I have never had this problem with BelRey MC1+
Beware of "old wives tales" about avgas. You will hear lots of incorrect rumors.
Give it a try, you will probably like it.

If airplanes trust it when the are anywhere from 0feet to 35,000feet. I would think it will be safe to run, i mean come on. Just add a cap of oil to everytime u feel ur tank up with it. That way it wont burn to dry and it will keep everything lubed good. Lance

My uncle runs avgas in his 68 z28 and has never had a problem. His father in law is an airplane mechanic, runs a flight school, and runs a local airport. He says I shouldnt run av gas in my raptor because the airplane engines are designed differently and the altitude has an effect as well. I may not know a lot, but I trust him.
