Default FMF exhaust on DS 650 ???

FMF have a few different options with the Titanium 4 pipe, one AMA and FIM legal mufflers then a Bazooka model, and then one race muffler.
Does anyone have any pointers..........

Default FMF exhaust on DS 650 ???

I had the FMF Power Core squared on my first DS. It was a good pipe. Good midrange boost, took the revs up into the rev limiter real quick. Lightweight, good fit and finish, I think it is one of the best aftermarket pipes for the DS. Not too loud, just right, good tone. I also had an HMF, which was clearly inferior to the FMF. The HMF finally broke a hole out through the side of the pipe where it mounts near your left boot. Of all the pipes and end caps I have tried, the FMF was the best in every way. I think FMF does more dyno testing than anyone else, and the weight is a big advantage.....

I've never seen a dyno sheet on a Titanium FMF for the DS650, but we're fixing to find out!

Default FMF exhaust on DS 650 ???

I have titanium 4 on both of my ds650s.

I really like the look and was hoping for a longer lasting pipe....

Would you believe the rivets on one are already rusting?!!?

So much for the titanium thing. I am thinking of calling the vendor.

i have a FMF powercore 4 slip on on my 04 ds. Was a pain to get on because the mounting tab (behind the left heel guard) didnt quite line up. Once we got it on was perfect sound not to loud. good power boost. Its a good pipe...

Dont think, Call em, ask em to make it right! you paid good money for that pipe now they need to support there product. I do it all the time!

I personally Like the Big Gun exhaust, its loud, but i love that low thumping sound.

My first pipe was the FMF powercore IV, i hated it, didnt fit good, it fell apart and rusted, the mounting bracket broke, i was not happy with it. Bought a Trinity after that, loved that pipe! but was not as powerful as i had hoped, went with the HMF for a while, that was the best low end pipe and sounded sick. Had the Big Gun Evo X as well, that was a good overall pipe, looks/sound/power were all top notch. I did not like the Ron Wood pipe i had, just looked to ugly to compensate for the awesome power increase lol. My suggestion for slip on is HMF, for full pipe is Big Gun.

im sure most of the slip on exhausts are similar in performance or pretty close but i have had good luck with my HMF so far.Did the big gun cdi at the same time so cant say if the boost is strictly from the pipe
