Bigbaja. Sorry to hear about your swingarm.
I have a couple questions. You said that on all swingarms above stock lenth he welds a crossbar and then welds the mounting tabs for the shock. Being that he does that, do you think it would stand the abuse if its done this way? I plan on ordering one from him and I dont want the same problem to happen. Im a big guy and I put my bike through He!! and back. I want something that will hold up.
Has he offered to pay for a replacement and to buy a new axle carrier?

He won't call me back at the moment, but he said he was moving his shop this week, so I will give him the benefit of doubt and wait till next week. I think if I had it to do over again, I would buy a tbr. They are heavy and about $200 more, but I have never heard of anyone tearing up one of those. The ace fab ones are built simple, which looks good, but may not hold up. I think if you can't destroy a stock one in a couple months like me, they should hold up.

I bought One of Ace's Swingarm. The construction looks great. The powder coating was messed up. I tried to get him to help me and he told me that the swing arm was fine when It left his shop. He said the damaged happened during shipping. I told him that if the damage happened in shipping then maybe he didn't package it properly. Long story short he told me to beat it. I took it to a local powder coating company and they said he must have done the powder coating himself. Apparently it didn't have proper coverage. It cost me an extra $100.00 to fix the job that Chris did. So if you buy one don't have him powder coat it get it done by once you receive it. All in all the swing arm cost me $650.00 I hope it lasts.

I had a +6 that the workmanship was fantastic on...but, it did get lost in the mail...not sure if it was a misunderstanding or what. But, nevertheless, the swingarm was flawless.
