i was draining my oil when i noticed that only a couple of quarts came out of the bottem of the engine, so im thinking to my self where did the rest go...so i go to fill her back up and presto only 2 quarts go back in before the oil tank is completly full......i have never had this problem before....would the reason the oil isnt draining out of my tank is because my screen is stopped up ???? has anyone had this happen?

 

thats where i drained the oil from....but the oil from the oil tank isnt draining

yep, thats what it was. man that strainer was packed full of ****....i should of done that a long ime ago...

I run Klotz synthetic myself.

Do you change it often? Just wondering. Other guys have the same trouble you did. I never have.
I got wondering about the choice of oil.

 

I am also running klotz. I have only seen a couple of specs on my screen. it was a year before I knew it was even there. but nothing on it to speak of.

 

i just started using redline a couple of months ago, i used to use the honda oil......i change it pretty often, about every other ride......

 

That not letting the oil drain has seized up a few alky motors!
