I got a brand new 04 DS650, i bought the mod quad END cap and a 175 main jet but I was thinking, since it's doesn't have a K&N yet, should I run a 172.5 main jet? I run it at just above sea level, Glamis.

Thoughts?

Run the 175, if its a little rich, buy a K&N and then you wont have to worry about it.

Ditto, run the 175. the filter doesn't make that much difference unless you let the stock one get dirty.

I just had my ds jetted, I have the Big Gun exhaust with quiet core insert, K&N with Outerwear and my air-box lid removed and I needed a 185 jet.

OK, I may try the 175, but i think it's a little rich for bone stock with just end cap, stock is 165 so 175 is jumping 4 jet sizes. I was thinking running a 172.5 for first few trips and after breaks in and revs more, then I will install a K&N and 175, think that would be ok?
