Default 04 Headlight bulbs

Anyone know what type of bulbs the 2004 headlight use? How does the high/low work? is low one bulb and high both bulbs? Anyone do a HID swap?

I was wondering the same thing.

The 2004 headlight bulbs look different and I have not taken them out to see what the base looks like. I have heard there was an HID conversion for 2003 and earlier, but I have a 2004.

I'm looking for HID replacements too.

Some one here has to know what type of bulb the 2004 headlight uses. I know the older models use a H4 automotive bulb. I have a 2004 headlight with bulbs sitting right in front of me, but can not tell what type of bulbs they are. They have no stamping on them at all. I have tried matching it to some websites that specialize in odd light bulbs but no luck. I like to carry a spare bulb with me, and would hate to think the bulbs are a Bombardier part only.

Have you tried a local auto parts shop? Not like Kragen or Pep Boys, but one like Prowlers up here in SCV or someone who does lots of custom work etc. where you might someone with real automotive experience.

Although if you think about it, having two bulbs in the light housing means you technically have a spare on hand, it wont be as bright, but you'll get back to camp easy enough, and you should be able to go out on night rides still.

Did you install your light yet? How is the Raptor looking after that funky noise it made?
