got the end cap in today i wanna go for a ride but i dont have the k and n or the jetting done yet will that hurt my quad?

another question i ride where a lot of people live like almost behind their house i was wondering what i can do to tone the end cap down?? i wish at night i could sqitch the end cap back to stock but you cant cuz of the new jetting?? ***2002 baja k and n with air lid on end cap***

thier no reason why you cant switch back and forth between enc caps. it will not effect your jetting that much. its better to jet your carb for the open endcap, then if you run with your stock end cap at the very worst you will run a little rich. no biggy. besides, until you spend some time on the Dyno tuning your carb, you will not ever really know if you are "perfeclty" jetted.

yeh but cant running rich hurt the quad? and if i have the new end caop (mrHP) then why do i have to jet it? i took it for a ride seems fine?? with everything stock even the filter??

 

if you notice you fan running more than it used to, then it would be a good idea to jet up, a size or two the main jet, and you probably need to turn the air/fuel mixture screw out about 3 -3.5 turns.
