bad cdi?

Default bad cdi?
my 01ds is not getting spark. I traced and checked all my wirers every thing is ok until the cdi. there is power going in but not coming out. Has any of you heard of a cdi going bad, is there a way to test one.

I have heard of CDI's go bad that way, but never the stock one. Is it an aftermarket CDI? If so, do you have the stock one to test against?

no, it's a stock cdi. i don't have anything to test it against.
