what differences will i see between the 03 baja normal compression shocks vs the high compression X shocks. I am hoping they are a stiffer ride. Anyone have some good info?

 

are you racing? if not you probably wont see a diff.

 

Mainly dunes but some trails. I am getting the kms efi in the next month and the turbo soon after if not the same time. I don't like how my 03 dives into corners and side hills. I have tried adjusting the present shocks and they are to soft still. I was hopine I could pick up an 05 X with the high compression shocks and put the efi and turbo on that and save the money on aftermarket shocks??

 

You might concider a anti- sway bar. some guy run them here maybe they would solve your prob. ?

anti sway bar??? how does that work???Are the higher compression shocks stiffer???I appreciate the help.

 

try this for help dura blue anti roll bar I dont use one but it sounds like what you might be looking for, click on the word "anti roll bar" on menu in the link, to the right for more detail. 222 also uses them PM him. maybe put a post on sway bar / anti roll bar to pull some other members thoughts.

i have a 2004 baja x and the high compression shocks on it are easily stiff enough not even set up the hole way and when they are set up the the hole way its just crazy stiff i weigh 210 pounds and i have them at a little over half on the setting and there fine for everything i do including some big air
