Anyone see the 05 Predator TLD model?

new tranny gears, I- razr radial tires & reverse & rezzie front shocks. Bad orange color. Looks like a winner.

It will be interesting to see how the TLD Pred with the close ratio 5 speed does against the standard Pred

 

reverse is good ..but i'd still buy a raptor before the pred..how about stuffing the 760cc efi in the pred?

 

That sounds like a nice machine, now they need to make it compete with the japanese 450s and it'll be a hot seller. I'm sure it's not bad, but those 450s are pretty nice, for a japanese model.

 

Yeah but my friends 450R is so little. The Pred is a good size. I don't ride MX so the 450's don't interest me. I don't think I'd like them as an everyday quad. American consumers seem so antiAmerican at times though too. People would still buy Honda & Yamaha. Polaris should have been making this quad 4 years ago.

 

huh, thats pretty cool. I cant believe they put reverse on it. Looks like they are gearing it more towards the trails now. I have a couple of buddies who have 03 predators and I like em. A would rather have a predator then a raptor. Don't blame the consumers, the blame lies with Polaris. The earned a reputation for poor reliability and that won't go away overnight. The Predator looks to hold up as well as anything else, but people go with what they trust.

 

What is up with the ratchet shifter on the new pred?

 

I don't mean Polaris. I mean in general. Ever read Autoweek? The public hate of American cars is crazy. Like these guys that are too good for the new Caddys. Next time that 405hp Caddy whips your Benz tell me all about it. Heck, Chryslers quality rate is higher than Mercedes! How's that for a hit to German engineering pride.

It's like this weird notion that American products are 2nd best. All these manufacturing jobs going overseas to China & India! India! They still poop in the street there!!!!

If the unions didn't protect these worthless workers & there weren't "lesser laws" for certain groups of people I doubt there would be a problem here. That's another argument though...
