One good way to get close starts is the three count. On the third nod of the head its go time. If there is more than one racer, someone just has to step up to the plate and initiate it.

 

Where we race we usually always have a flagman. But if theres no one to flag, I always try to go when I see his clutch hand move.

 

I don't know about the quick start stuff but when I ride drag the first thing I do is pull up my dress so it don't get caught in the wheels lol

 

That's why I wear only goggles, boots & a jockstrap.

 

So ya'll are try to confuse/distract the competion? LOL!

 

BTW, I always make sure I'm up on my feet & leaning over the bars too.... You know to keep wheelies down[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-shocked.gif[/img]

 

You know what they say if you can't dazzle them with brilliance.... baffle them with crossdressing B...S... lol

 

You could always do a combo of Cain73, and 01ds650.....be on your feet, lean over the bars and then pull your dress up...that would really catch them off guard!!! Show everyone on the line your yam bag, and your sure to win!!! Of course no one will ever race you again.....
