Default polishing

hi i would really apreciate if someone could make a list of whatever is polisheable(sp?) on a DS 2000 plz!

i kknow the rims and motor, but lil things that nobody knows but make my bike ''bling'' a lil more[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]
dont write something that is polisheable but rusts cause i use my bike every day i dont want to do 2 hours of mothers every night[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-tongue.gif[/img]

I think that pretty much everything is polishable. I'm in the process of doing some polishing while my bike is all apart. About the rust, what I plan to do is clearcoat everything that I polish. That should prevent rust.

in crazy white dudes defense, almost every thing u polish will rust eventually if u dont take care of it

man i know what is polishing i just want to know what is aluminium made on my Ds 2000

plz!

Not to confuse rust with oxidization. Ferrous parts (anything with iron) will rust. Anything else is considered non ferrous (aluminum, magnesium, brass) they will oxidize or become hazy. Ferrous parts chould either be painted or chromed. Aluminum parts can be polished out fairly easy. They will oxidize over time but it takes almost no effort to restore them to a chrome like shine, unless that is they have been seriously neglected.

i saw you on another post DSJOBBER and i saw your hubs and they look f*ckin nice man nice job but i dont know if they are polisheable on a 2000 cause they changed a lot of parts in 200? and i dont know if mines are aluminium

so plz tell me if my hubs front-rear and my axle and big nut are polisheable plzzzzzzzzzz! i dont need 210392929 non-sense answers, just one clear like YES or NO
