he was still runnign the stock carb which doesnt help and it didn't sound like it was running that great it was popping when coming down form high speed runs. on that dyno a saw a piped yfz make 44hp, a piped and cammed honda 450 make 43, a stock bore Z-400 make 44, and another Z make 40, and a piped lt-250r make 34.

 

my friends raptor with powroll kit and 20 hp nitrous made 67hp, it's all good what hp we make out on the west coast, we read about the guys on the east and start to get worried and look for more same as the guys on the east, i did get to race someone with race experience of several machines and i'd say things look pretty good for both sides, rider seems to make a big difference from what i've seen. stock bore or stroke is going to have a lot of trouble when these turbos take off. seems that is what azsand had to say, and at this point his reports seem right on. when they can boost up and get a nitrous machine, and do it every run.

 

gary has a dyno on the way it should be up and running in 2 months so we should be able to compare a few numbers, not that they will show who wins.

 

sandman what kind of hp would you guess you're putting out?

 

oh i'm not really sure, just glad as much as i do i'd hate to have that scrambler passing me[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img] sure impressed alex with that machine. i was able to out run the other 720's but i think rider had more to do with it.

 

i was pretty close to you when we raced definitely a huge improvement over the last time i raced you.

 

yeah i think you hurt a lot of 450 feelings. but hey they need to be challenged.

 

there was only 1 450 that i lost to, you could smell the alcohol.

 

in just a roll up race i lost to that orange flame job 450, but it was said he was spraying, with funny fuel, when i went to the juice it was over, we raced at the strip in the fourstroke class i think he was the fastest one i ran, i ran another one with a boonedocker system can't remember his time though.

 

yeah it was the orange flame one. i didn't realize he had nos i never saw the bottle.
