Default CDI Box/Rev Limiter

Both the Viper DS and the BajaX should have the same stock CDI/rev limit of 7900RPM's. I'm not sure why some say they are different because I don't believe they are, or would understand why Bombardier would do that. Doesn't make sense to put a different rev limit on the same motor.

Default CDI Box/Rev Limiter

My procom CDI box is less then 6 months old, and the DS just started running like total crap. Tried everything, then swapped in tthe stock CDI in place of the procom unit. WOW! It was like a preformance upgrade? Thats right, the stock unit was way up on power as compared to the procom unit. And my backfire went away.... It wasnt allways like that, the procom unit was an increase over stock when i first got it.

I aparently got a so so unit that gradully went bad over time. It seemed down on power, then started backfirring up north 3 weekends ago for no reason, and i was way down on top end power the whole day.

Ridding at the track the following weekend i found out it was a bad procom CDI, Changed to the stock unit and now it runs fine.

I havnt contacted procom yet to see if they will back there product with an exchange or refund yet..... Otherwise i have a 100 dollar rifle target to bring to the rifle shooting range and get my money out of it from 300 yrds with the 25-06...

Very great.
Only 125$ CAN for the modification
would you mind sharing some info about that modification?
