I had a good time in Aledo even though Saturday was a wash. Friday weather permitted those of us that were there alot of good dragging. It was very cool putting faces with names.

sandbomber...it wouldn't have mattered if you brought a extra pair of boxers or not. I brought several pairs of boxers and all of them and are past the point of washing and can be found scattered up HWY30. UBETRUN can make bombs!

COUNTRYJOEGLASS...Thanks for babysitting the Baja Friday night. Were you able to get any passes on your new motor?

See you all next year!

Wow! That place went from a National drag race event to a red neck mud slingin' contest.

I felt right at home.

It was cool to meet up with forum members again and see some new faces.

Those Bombs are fast, no doubt about it. Too bad you guys left early...and wouldn't dyno...:-)

I had a ball in spite of the rain. Met some great folks and learned a lot, well worth the drive. Glad everyone enjoyed the firecrackers.

When's the next big event??

I tried to dyno saturday when the guy got back, but said he didn't want to dyno a wet & dirty bike I can't say that I blame him, those things aren't cheap. Maybe next time. UBETRUN how does someone get ahold of those little firecrackers?

That was a long round trip to eat at the best Mexican restaurant I've ever been to! Tamolly's- that was worth the trip

Racing along the fence row wasn't nearly as dangerous as it first looked, but I couldn't talk myself into getting the 715 out in it- a 5 ft wide lane makes it interesting.

It is really good to meet you guys and get to know you. Special thanks to Bob at Craycraft for getting me a chain Friday- that was more than out of his way - Super Guy! 2nd pass on Friday and the 715 snapped a brand new chain on the launch - it's safe to say a DS will easily stay together above 12000rpm!!\

Thanks 14mins - really appreciate the hard work, I hate that it had to rain AGAIN.

Ube - we were all fired up about dynoing on Saturday morning- we were going to dyno everything in the trailer for you guys- we worked out the tire situation and everything. But... I don't think the dyno guy was too interested in mud on his dyno. If it's any consolation, DuneDevil dyno'ed on that same dyno last year and was within 1 horsepower of his dyno runs up here the week before, so I think it's accurate.

Let's do it again sometime!

Jay not a problem. It was nice finally meeting you. No I didn't make any pass on it but did get it broke in. I tried to get it on the dyno but the guy didn't want any dirty or wet bikes on his dyno. I can't blame him for that.
