Default NOS?????

I notice that nitrous is always kicked on after 2nd gear? (or at least never from a stand still) Why is that?Is there some low rpm fatality associated?

You can run NOS in any gear but you want to make sure that the motor is not bogging down as was stated previously.

I spray mine from a dead stop all the way through 5th, just dont want to lug it like already stated. I rev mine up to about 5000 dump the clutch and open the throttle, as long as I have the throttle wide open the microswitch activates the selonoids. It works great.

Did you install your own or have a pro shop do it? How much was it?

I've installed NOS on 5 DS's so far. You can get the kit for around $600.00. If your interested let me know, I can show you a couple of installs.

I do all my own stuff. I also peice together the nitrous kits because I am not giving 6-800 dollars for a kit that is only worth 350 with a bottle. It is much cheaper to but the componets that you need and forget the actual kit itself, but some might want to just buy the kit.

Amd, I can't agree with you more, well said!!!!!

#1 A gas solenoid
#2 A N2O solenoid
#3 A bottle
#4 A N2O supply line
#5 Two feed lines to the nozzles
#6 Two nozzles
#7 6' of wire or so
#8 Crimp connectors
#9 Pills to dial the system in
#10 T for the fuel line
#11 Short peice of fuel line
#12 Half a day to Ebay the stuff for about a 1/3 of the cost of a kit!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
#13 Half a day to install the stuff
#14 Maybe a good book, if you have never did this before? (Optional)

#15 One week in the hospital picking gravel out of your butt if you shoot too much on your first go around!!!!

Some would argue #1. I would never run straight N2O with a rich carb; I think it is foolish. But that is just my opinion.
